Love Soup 05:42
Taking time to stand back, From what I’ve learnt to be Lifting rocks on the sea bed Trapped breathe runs free Up to the surface Expanding consciousness With each and every burst, knowledge is released As the quietest voice is heard. I’m loving you, for loving me for loving you. I’m holding you, for holding me, for holding you This is all the courage I need, to see me through I’m loving you, for loving me, for loving you. Loving you, in all honesty I’m been born again Born again This love has freed my soul x 2 This love This is all the courage I need, to see me through I’m loving you, for loving me, for loving you. For loving you In all honesty

War 05:00
I turned my TV on All I found was war People arguing People fighting Each of us unique with a strength to give What a sorry state we're in if this is what we're choosing Can I try, just today To stand by, who I am? I walked around my town Everyone was looking down Scared to say hello, what might it bring? And when did we all start to doubt each others hearts? In fear it seems that we've created, threats to keep us segregated. Can we try, just today To stand by, who we are? And just a step, at a time Change might echo all across the world When you’re feeling sad, walking past an angel How would you know? When you’re overcome with smiles and you want to share your love Why hold it down? Can you try, just today To stand by, who you are? Just a step, at a time Change might echo all across the world Each of us unique With a strength to give What are we fighting for

Golden Eagle 04:56
I don't mind Sometimes I fly Sometimes I cry When I feel the pain, in your eyes I don’t mind, I don’t mind, at all I went to Berlin Saw the writing on the wall I made a vow right there and then To appreciate my freedom more And I, don’t mind Sometimes I cry Sometimes I fly When I feel the joy, in your skies I don’t mind, at all Now that I’m back home, I can feel my chains again If these are an illusion they’re All I’ve ever known. I don't mind Sometimes I fly Sometimes I cry When I feel the pain in your eyes I don’t mind, I don’t mind, at all Freedom x 4 I don’t mind, Sometimes I cry Sometimes I fly When I feel the joy, in your skies I don’t mind at all.

Resting in the fire So much waits In the morning drops of dew Your roots will keep growing With bows of silver in the rain Rise towards the light With all these people by your side The soft pinks of the sunrise Sea horses glide, from ocean to the shores Fairies in the garden That come out when you’re still And oh, the chameleon And yes, the Taj Mahal The weather’s always changing The power of the sun Keep this one safe from harm Resting in the fire
5.
All the colours on the shore All the pebbles in the bay What a lot to choose from Some of them will have to stay Hold this moment and take away All the memories You don't have to say very much Your wisdom exceeds my years Send me out to live my life And the rest will come with time, I’m gonna Hold this moment and take away All the memories Send me on my way x 2 Hold each moment x 2 Send me on my way x 2 To where the mountains rise up And the clouds respond their way Every thing is as it should be And your words will come back to me All the colours on the shore All the pebbles in the bay What a lot to choose from Some of them will have to stay Hold this moment

Prophecy 04:12
Why don’t you want me Why am I not good enough You being you makes you happy And me being me, does me too. You’re talking to your ancestors But you’re words they cannot hear You’re going deep down, to where it’s quiet And you don’t want to talk, anymore I can’t be who you want me to be But I can be everything I am. Maybe I could lead you through this darkness Maybe I could be the one So raise your foot Look at the mark you’ve made Raise your head, look at all the different ways ahead Coz you’re, always finding your rhythm when you least thought that you would You’re always finding your rhythm when you least thought that you would x 2 Why don’t you want me Why am I not good enough You being you makes you happy And me being me does me too. I can’t be who you want me to be But I can be everything I am. Maybe I could lead you through your darkness Did you think that I might be the one? Did you loose your vision? Did you loose your way? Did you loose your rhythm? Did you loose your way?
7.
I want you to support this pioneer In search for new lands I know that you care for me And you don’t want me to fall into the wrong hands But you’re moving, me, away You say you’re watching over this You don’t want to see disappointment To be cautious of these dreams And scared of the outcome Do I need you…. To believe? Yes you respect my courage Now that you see I’ve been brave You’re looking at me through different eyes I can see it on your face The skin cracks around the soul The light and dark filter through You’ll never understand, But you’re starting to, Believe, in me. From the furthest planet To the smallest living thing Here we are suspended in the middle Of something so beautiful, yes its Something so beautiful that, We don’t see.

The Magician 05:10
Would you bruise my confidence and inflict some pain? Make the possible seem impossible would you drive me insane? Tear at my skin with your bloody tears of doubt Wash away my courage would you leave me without Sometimes your being with me is keeping me alive The sound of your footsteps and the beating of your pulse Buy that winning ticket move far far away (what do I care) To a land where all that glitters is gold You either love hate are indifferent to the ground on which I stand Depending on where you're building your walls I can't judge I know how it is. Walking alone along downtrodden streets Demons pose silently on the corner of the roads Waiting for you to notice their pointing tails The power of suggestion in the vulnerable and weak Mindful of the fears and what attention seeks Nurture my addiction and make sure that when you're done I know I have reached this ripe old age of 31 There is only that which helps us live and that which helps us die A survivor is someone who has stepped into the light Broken restless community, I speak in diamonds, hearts and clubs The spade of my wisdom is nothing more nothing less Than a gentle soul speaking in the dark Than a gentle soul calling in the dark Than a gentle soul flickering in the dark
9.
White Light 03:11
You fill me up With light I can see, miracles, in every thing, now And I'm holding on For my life The waters running fast And wild So I'm holding on For my life Don't wake me up From this dream Coz everything is possible here And I can breathe I can breathe With you Don't wake me up From this dream Coz everything is as it seems With you.

about

This is Jenni’s debut album, a selection of 9 songs chosen from a repertoire of 20 years of singing and songwriting.

The album title, symbolic of that place from where the songs were written has become a huge source of inspiration. Let Alone on the Moon take you to your inner world where reflections on being human will take you on a journey across miles and miles of familiar yet forgotten shores. From the feminine to the masculine, this is a collection of moments for us all.

Funded through crowdfunding on Kickstarter, this album would not have been possible without;
